The information below is more general in nature and covers the actual pest control aspects of spiders in your home or work. Visit our BLOG for more specific information about Australian Spider Species.
Understanding Spiders in our Environment
Spiders form an important part of the ecosystem, but their bites often have adverse health consequences for humans. However, most spiders are not aggressive unless you invade their space. Therefore, leaving them alone will usually keep you from being bitten.
Did you know
Spiders are nature’s pest control, because a single spider can eat hundreds of insects each year, helping to keep bug populations in check.

Spider Control
We use a specialised selection of chemical products that are designed to be low in toxicity for humans and pets, while still providing effective spider control. Our barrier treatments could last for several months, but additional treatments may be recommended in cases of heavy infestations or challenging conditions.

Important Preparation and Safety Steps Before Treatment
PBefore treatment, remove food, water bowls, children’s toys, and clothes from the lines. All exposed food should be taken away. Cover fish tanks and ponds, keeping them covered for two hours after treatment. Turn off pumps and filters in fish tanks during treatment and follow your technician's instructions. Keep all occupants and pets away from the treatment area during the process.
What to Expect After Spider Treatment: Immediate and Delayed Effects
Many spiders will be affected immediately after treatment, but some may take longer to fully die. These spiders can still bite, so allow a few days for the full effects to take place.
